A group of seven police officers were filmed chasing down three suspects close to Manchester city centre and beating them with truncheons. Riot police had apparently spent ten minutes chasing down the thugs not far from where a Miss Selfridge store was torched by yobs. A police officer appears to kick one of the trio in the head and he is beaten five times with truncheons after they chase him down. He is later seen getting to his feet.
